70/30 Payment Ratio: We operate on a 70/30 percent (%) payment ratio. This means that you will receive your payment in two parts.

70% Initial Payment: Within 48 hours of successful product delivery, including local delivery costs, you will receive an initial payment of 70% of the total product value. This payment is made to you as a partial payment and signifies the completion of the first phase of the payment process.

30% Final Payment: The remaining balance of 30% will be issued to you within 72 hours after the customer has received the order and confirmed that it meets their expectations. This final payment is contingent on the customer's satisfaction with the product.

Our payment process ensures that you receive a substantial portion of your earnings quickly and the remaining balance once the customer has verified the quality of the product. We are committed to offering a fair and secure payment experience to both our vendors and customers.

SELLER FAQ

To create a seller account on our website, simply click on the "Start selling" button at the top of the page. Fill out the registration form and submit your application. Click the link in the confirmation email to activate your account. Once we have reviewed and approved your application, you will receive an email with further instructions.


To list your products on our website, log in to your seller account and click on the "Add Product" button. Fill out the product details, including images, descriptions, prices, and shipping information. Once you have completed all the required fields, click on "Submit" to list your product.


Buyandcarry does not charge listing fees and there is no fixed listing period. Your product can be listed permanently for as long as you are able to fulfill the orders.


You can manage your orders by logging in to your seller account and navigating to the "Orders" section. Here, you will be able to view pending and delivered orders


We aim to receive all orders from sellers within 48 hours after the order has been placed. Once you receive an order notification, please make sure you immediately ship to our Lagos office at 21, Ajanaku Street, Awuse Estate, Opebi, Ikeja If you reside outside Lagos, please call 07068492608 to let our vendor support team know your shipping method and where available, the tracking details.


If a customer starts a dispute or requests a return or refund, you should first communicate with them to resolve the issue. If you cannot reach an agreement with the buyer and a return or refund is necessary, Buyandcarry will step in to process the return/refund.


You can withdraw your funds by logging in to your seller account and navigating to the "Withdrawal" section. Here, you will be able to enter the amount to be withdrawn. You will receive payments for your sales directly to your designated bank account.


As a seller, it is important to provide excellent customer service. You can enhance customer satisfaction by delivering customers’ orders to our designated location as quickly as possible. You can also quality customer support by responding promptly and professionally to customer messages and disputes.


You can track your sales and performance by logging in to your seller account and navigating to the "Dashboard" section. Here, you will be able to view your sales, total products listed, order history, and other important metrics to help you optimize your sales strategy.

VENDOR

Joining and starting a shop on Buyandcarry is free. There are three basic selling fees: a listing fee, a transaction fee, and a payment processing fee. It costs USD 0.20 to publish a listing to the marketplace. A listing lasts for four months or until the item is sold. Once an item sells, there is a 3.5% transaction fee on the sale price (not including shipping costs). If you accept payments with PayPal, there is also a payment processing fee based on their fee structure. Listing fees are billed for $0.20 USD, so if your bank's currency is not USD, the amount may differ based on changes in the exchange rate.
